Jill, this was such a tender and joy-filled reflection. The little quirks and quiet differences really are the story of a life shared, and the humor in them is what keeps the whole thing afloat. Thank you for the gentle reminder to love the pebbles, not just the path.
Jill, obviously, you have a great marriage, full of love and laughter. I'm so with your husband on the PROPER way to load the dishwasher. I wash by hand, but always the dishes have to be in a certain order in the dishpan -- washed, rinsed, and put in the drying rack just so. We engineers like a clean, orderly process. And Teddy relegated to the floor -- YES! . . . A delightful piece, Jill. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Lovely piece, warmed my heart.
Thank you Fran
A happy marriage is a gift that ripples outward into the world, I am sure of it. Congratulations on successfully nurturing and appreciating yours.
Thanks Jan. I always appreciate your kind and generous comments :)

Thanks Bob. We are not poetry in motion, to be clear, but we make it work and have a few chuckles along the way.
Engineers stick together, and I am not one, but am also glad I married one.
